Peter C. Wijnbergen

President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Wijnbergen was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation on January 1, 2014. He served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from September 2010 through December 2013 and prior thereto held senior leadership positions in operations, strategic planning and sales, marketing and logistics. His areas of expertise are sales, marketing, operations management and strategic planning. Mr. Wijnbergen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from University of Toronto and speaks fluently in English, French, Dutch and German.

Robin E. Lampard

Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Lampard joined Norbord Inc. in 1996 and was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in February, 2008. Prior to her appointment, Ms. Lampard was Vice President, Treasurer since 2002. Ms. Lampard held a number of progressively senior financial management roles from 1996 to 2002. Ms. Lampard holds an MBA degree from the University of Toronto and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Nigel Banks

Senior Vice President, Corporate Services

Mr. Banks joined Norbord Inc. as Senior Vice President, Corporate Services in 2010. He has extensive experience in human resources management at the executive level, having worked in the mining, manufacturing, high tech, health care and lumber sectors in both South Africa and Canada for more than 25 years. Prior to joining Norbord, he was Vice President, Human Resources for LifeLabs in Vancouver, British Columbia. Mr. Banks holds degrees in Psychology and Theology.

Alan McMeekin

Senior Vice President, Europe

Mr. McMeekin joined Norbord in 1999. He held senior finance and logistics positions in Europe prior to his promotion in May 2010 to Vice President, Finance and Operations Europe where he was responsible for the operation and financial performance of Norbord’s four European sites. In February 2018, Mr. McMeekin was promoted to Senior Vice President, Europe. Mr. McMeekin’s earlier experiences prior to Norbord include engineering and auditing. Mr. McMeekin is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He holds an MBA from Strathclyde University.


Senior Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Logistics

Mr. Dubois-Phillips joined Norbord as Vice President, Corporate Development in January 2018 and became Senior Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Logistics in December 2018.  Mr. Dubois-Phillips has over 20 years of experience in the forest products industry in North America and Asia, having held a variety of senior management roles in sales and marketing, operations management, and business and product development.  Prior to joining Norbord, he held senior roles in operations management, emerging and disruptive technologies, and business development at BC Hydro prior to starting up his own renewable energy project consulting business.  Mr. Dubois-Phillips holds a BA in Political Science and International Relations from UBC.

Kevin Burke

Senior Vice President, North American Operations

Mr. Burke joined Norbord in 2001 as Manufacturing Manager in Cowie, Scotland and was appointed General Manager of the mill in 2004. In 2007 he was promoted to Director, Manufacturing Improvement for Norbord Europe. This role included responsibilities as General Manager at Cowie, Scotland and leading manufacturing excellence across all European mills. In 2010, he returned to the US and was appointed Regional General Manager, overseeing the Joanna, South Carolina and Huguley, Alabama mills. In 2012 Mr. Burke was promoted to Vice President, Operations – East and in 2015 to Vice President, Operations – South. In February 2018, Mr. Burke was promoted to his current position. He holds an MBA from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester, NY.
